DTV has a standard 4:3 aspect ratio while HDTV 16:9 (like those of the cinema screen). HDTV resolution can reach 1921 × 1080 pixels, and the lowest is 1280 × 720 pixels. While the DTV only reached 704 × 480 pixels only. That is, the number of HDTV 10x more pixels than analog TV. For the frame rate, arguably the same. But the most striking difference is the analog TV is not capable of displaying a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels at 60 fps.
